I’m writing a letter to my future self – the person I hope to grow into as my personal development journey unfolds. The me ” who has more “likes” than “dislikes” in each of the seven specific areas of my life (see day 2)
Dear Future Sunshyne
Congratulations on all the progress you’ve made so far! You now have even more to be grateful for in each area of your life.
Who would have thought that so much would happen in 30 days? I mean staying at home has turned out to be better than you had hoped. Who wouldn’t love getting to use her mum’s car every once in a while! And now that MacLarens is happening full force, life has never been so eventful. All the picnics at the game parks, the 5km walks, the big sister project. WOW!
And now that you’ve got your license, being at Ascot doesn’t seem so bad. I mean, you can just get into the car and zip off to wherever you need to go be it French lessons or NUST for the event management course. And now that you’ve looked into studying for another degree via correspondence, you will be so busy it’s a good thing you are now DEBT FREE. The added responsibilities that you are taking on at home are also a great showcase of your growth.
Your new figure + new attitude towards life is all part of a healthier you. You even have a new type of glow in your face. Adding the spiritual growth, you are becoming a force to reckon with. The new version of you is AMAZING. She smiles more often and is less stressed about life in general. And kudos to you for not letting your fighting friends draw you into their drama.
Your life is so much better now and it’s all because of your hard work.
Keep it up!
God aint done with you yet!
